George is a Managing Director at Asante, who manages a number of the firm’s European fundraisings, maintains relationships with investors throughout Europe, and manages Asante’s Munich office. Before joining Asante, George spent four years working as a corporate lawyer in the financial institutions group at Clifford Chance in London and Amsterdam, where he advised on a range of issues including the sale and purchase of portfolio companies within the financial services sector. George spent his final year at Clifford Chance on secondment to BlackRock’s institutional legal team in London. George holds an LLB with first class honours in Law and Business from the University of Brighton, an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
