Andy is the Group General Counsel responsible for all legal and regulatory matters across the Group. Andy has significant regulatory, corporate, tax and structuring experience in the closed ended funds space. Before joining Asante, Andy spent seven years working at the Aztec Group as Head of Legal and Group Head of Depositary Services and was also responsible for establishing and running Aztec’s Swedish office in Stockholm. Prior to joining Aztec, Andy spent six years in private practice in the City, the Channel Islands and in Bristol. Andy holds a BSc in Plant Biology from the University of Durham, is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales and is a Chartered Tax Advisor.
