We are pleased to share that Chequers Capital has closed its latest fund, Chequers Capital Fund XVIII SLP (“Fund XVIII”) at the EUR 1.2bn target. Despite a challenging fundraising environment, they were able to surpass the previous fund’s size through a combination of support from existing investors and new institutional groups across Europe, the US and Asia.
Chequers Capital Fund XVIII SLP will allow the firm to continue its successful mid-market buyout strategy, focusing on investing in primary transactions across Asset Light Industrials, Digital Services and B2B Services & Distribution businesses in Western Europe.
